About these terms

These terms apply when you browse noecraft.com and when you buy from it. Noecraft is a shop for handmade home goods from small makers across Europe. In these terms, “you” is the customer and “we”, “us” or “Noecraft” is the company named below. Placing an order means you accept what is set out here.

What you will find at Noecraft

Noecraft sells handcrafted home goods made by independent European workshops, such as ceramics, textiles and other pieces for the home. Each item is made by hand, so small differences in colour, finish, grain or size are normal and are part of the character of a handmade piece rather than a fault. We describe and photograph every item as faithfully as we can, though screens vary and the piece you receive may look a little different from the image.

Placing an order

When you place an order, we email you to confirm we have received it. This confirmation is not yet acceptance: a contract between you and Noecraft is formed only once we accept your order and the maker dispatches it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example where a piece has sold out or where a price or detail was shown incorrectly. Because pieces are made and shipped by different makers, an order with items from more than one workshop may arrive as more than one parcel.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken when you order. You can pay by card (Visa or Mastercard) or by direct bank transfer, and both are free of charge: bank transfer carries no fee and no discount, so your total is the same whichever you choose. Card payments run through 3D Secure, and your full card number never reaches us. Full details are on our Payment Policy.

Package Protection

At checkout you can add optional Package Protection for 10 EUR. It is switched off by default and is added only if you choose it. When added, it covers your order against loss, theft or damage in transit, handled as a replacement or a refund. It is an extra option and does not affect your statutory rights, which apply either way.

Delivery

We deliver to the 27 EU countries and the United Kingdom only, and we do not ship anywhere else. Delivery is tracked and costs a flat 8 EUR per order. Orders usually arrive in 3 to 8 business days within the EU and 4 to 10 business days to the United Kingdom. Pieces ship from the makers’ own workshops, so timing can vary by maker, and further detail is on our Help page. For deliveries to the United Kingdom, import VAT or duty may be charged on arrival and is the customer’s responsibility.

Returns and damaged pieces

You can return an unused item within 30 days of the order date. Email info@noecraft.com with your order number first, and we will send you the right return address for the maker who made your piece. Items should come back unused and in their original condition and packaging. If something arrives damaged or faulty, send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or a refund. The full steps are on our Help page.

Content and intellectual property

Everything on noecraft.com, including text, images, maker stories, designs, logos and branding, belongs to the company behind Noecraft or to the makers and licensors it works with, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Our responsibility to you

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or knock-on losses arising from the use of the site or the pieces bought through it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
